 ALL AROUND TOWN

Chap Olympiad at Bedford Square Gardens

An annual celebration of sporting ineptitude, the Chap Olympiad has become one of the highlights of the sartorially savvy gentleman's calendar.

Featuring eccentric events such as Umbrella Jousting, Butler Baiting and the Pipeathon, the event is a celebration of elegance, anti-athleticism and a certain willingness to cheat. The Olympiad is officially opened by the lighting of the Olympic Pipe, and competitors who do best in the subsequent events will receive gold, silver or bronze cravats.

Hosted by the illustrious Chap Magazine, the event also offers radio plays, lawn games, live music and ample opportunities for refreshment. Attendees are always immaculately dressed and wearing period costume is highly encouraged.

 QUOTE OF THE DAY
